Hyundai Santa Cruz Specs

When it comes to powertrains, you have two options with the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz. The first engine choice is a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that pushes 191 horses. It gives you plenty of power for your daily drives and weekend adventures. But if you're looking for even more, go for the 2.5L turbocharged version of the 4-cylinder engine for 281 hp.

Hyundai's HTRAC All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is available in all trims and is standard on some, giving you extra traction when you need it most. Properly equipped, the Santa Cruz can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

Hyundai Santa Cruz Interior

Step inside the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz, and you'll find a cabin that's clean and airy. There's plenty of space for you and your passengers, with a whopping 101.8 cubic feet of passenger volume. Plus, the rear seat has a 60/40 split that can fold down.

The Santa Cruz isn't just spacious; it's luxurious, too. You'll find leather seating surfaces, as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob on higher trims. You can set the mood with 64-color ambient lighting. And on those beautiful sunny days, open up the power tilt-and-slide sunroof and let the fresh air in.

Hyundai Santa Cruz Exterior

One look at the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz, and you'll see it's not your average vehicle. It's curvy yet muscular, turning heads wherever it goes. For 2025, Hyundai has given it a fresh face with a restyled grille and front bumper that's similar to the 2025 Tucson SUV. It's practical, too, with a spacious cargo bed that offers 27.0 cubic feet of space.

Hyundai has packed this bed with features. You'll find special integrated storage and tie-down points to secure your gear. There's an integrated tonneau cover that lets you hide your cargo and keep it safe with a lockable design. There's even a sealed underfloor bin that drains and an available 115-volt power outlet.

Hyundai Santa Cruz Technology

At just four years old, Santa Cruz is still considered young in the automotive world, so it comes packed with all the latest tech of the era it was born into. Instead of separate screens, you now get a single panoramic curved display that spans the dashboard. It houses two 12.3-inch screens – one for infotainment and another for the digital instrument cluster.

The updated software interface now features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. And speaking of wireless, there's also a wireless charging pad for your phone. The Hyundai Digital Key 2 Touch lets you use your smartphone as a key. And with Bluelink+, you can remotely start your vehicle, lock doors, activate climate control, and more.

Hyundai Santa Cruz Safety

When it comes to safety, the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz has your back. It comes with Hyundai's very own suite of safety and driver-assist features called Hyundai SmartSense. This package includes crucial features like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection and Lane Keeping Assist.

The Santa Cruz also offers Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Curve Control. This smart system uses map data to anticipate upcoming curves and adjusts your speed accordingly.

2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz Trim Levels

Choosing the right trim level is crucial to getting the features that are right for you. With the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz, you have five trims to choose from, each building on the features of the previous one.

The Hyundai Santa Cruz SE trim.

SE

The SE is the base trim with all the essentials. You get a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so your phone's always connected. Plus, you get HD Radio and a SiriusXM trial to keep you entertained on long drives.

The seats are made of comfortable stain and odor-resistant cloth, with a 6-way adjustable driver seat. Bluelink+ comes standard, giving you remote access to your vehicle. Safety features include a Rear-View Monitor (RVM) with parking guidance. On the outside, you'll find 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights with High Beam Assist, and lockable under-bed and sidewall storage compartments.

The Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL trim.

SEL

Step up to the SEL trim, and you'll start to see some luxury features creep in. The seats are now H-Tex Leatherette, and the driver gets an 8-way power seat with lumbar support. Both front seats can be heated with three different intensities.

Comfort continues with dual automatic temperature controls, and there are even floor console-mounted rear A/C vents for your back-seat passengers. Small but meaningful changes include power windows with front auto-down/up and illuminated sun visors with sliding function. On the outside, you'll find heated side mirrors with LED turn-signal indicators and roof side rails.

The Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL Activity trim.

SEL Activity

As the name suggests, this trim level is for those who plan to get active. It makes full use of Santa Cruz's abilities with the addition of a standard 4 or 7-pin Trailer Tow and LED bed lights. The integrated tonneau cover comes with T-slot utility tracks.

Other features include a 115V power outlet in the sidewall storage, a rear sliding glass window, and a power tilt-and-slide sunroof. Inside, you get wireless device charging and a larger 12.3-inch gauge cluster.

The Hyundai Santa Cruz XRT trim.

XRT

The XRT trim is unique in that it has styling cues not found on any other trim. It also introduces many new features. First off, it comes standard with HTRAC All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with paddle shifters. It's also the only one so far to have a Tow Drive Mode and an increased approach angle.

It sits on uniquely styled 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. You'll also notice the exclusive dark satin black grille and red front tow hooks, along with dark chrome front and rear bumper trim. Inside, you get Black H-Tex Leatherette seats. Technology gets an upgrade, too, with the addition of the Hyundai Digital Key 2 Touch. The 12.3-inch screen adds navigation features, and you get Dynamic Voice Recognition and Hyundai Pay Capability.

The Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited trim.

Limited

The Limited is the top trim level, and it's got all the bells and whistles you could want. From rain-sensing windshield wipers to the auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, it seems to have it all. Luxury shines through with a heated steering wheel, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, leather-trimmed seats, and ventilated front seats.

You can set the mood just right with ambient interior lighting and enjoy your tunes through the Bose Premium Audio System. The Surround View Monitor (SVM) makes parking a breeze. To top it all off, it sits on 20-inch wheels – the largest of the lineup – and sports a dark chrome accent grille.
